Welcome to the 2025 AIPPI World Congress!

The Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception marked the kick-off of the 2025 AIPPI World Congress in Yokohama, Japan.

Yokohama is known for its vibrant culture, innovative spirit, and stunning waterfront, therefore the Opening Ceremony kicked off with a Gagaku Performance (a type of Japanese classical music and dance). After our hosts introduction, our AIPPI President, Lorenza Ferrari Hofer officially opened the 2025 AIPPI World Congress. We also had a surprise guest, Mitsuko Miyagawa, Justice of the Supreme Court in Japan. It was a great honour.

First Time Attendees' - Started with a Cocktail!

Our first time Congress attendees met up for a networking cocktail shortly before the Opening Ceremony. Our newcomers learned more about AIPPI, what the Congress has to offer, and planned their social and networking activities of the Congress! Welcome to our newcomers!

The ExCo I has commenced!

The Executive Committee (ExCo) of AIPPI is the decision-making body of the Association. Each National or Regional Group is represented by delegates, who have the power to vote on the adoption of Resolutions of AIPPI, elect the Bureau, and take other decisions. The ExCo plays a critical role in shaping the future of our organisation.

Celebrating 100 Years!

We would also like to congratulate our National Groups with 100 Year Anniversaries!

Behind the Scenes of the 2025 Study Questions

Together with the Reporter General Team (RGT), our four Study Committees are working on the 2025 Study Questions. Meetings have begun and will continue into the Plenary Sessions throughout the Congress. The debates are lively, and action packed. Stay tuned!
