A new perspective on pancreatic cancer

The figures are stark: each year, more than 500,000 people are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. The most common and aggressive form has a five-year survival rate of less than 10%. Researcher Marieke IJsselsteijn has developed a new method that allows her to study these tumours in unprecedented detail.
