Alumnus Ruurd Kok seeks tangible traces of the past

After various jobs as an archaeologist, alumnus Ruurd Kok became a journalist. For the ‘Traces of Leiden University’ series, he explored the past of university buildings. ‘To me, history is interesting when you can touch it.’

‘Insight can help prevent migraine’

Migraine attacks strike suddenly and can seriously limit people’s lives. Gisela Terwindt is researching the influence of lifestyle factors and triggers to predict migraine attacks better. The goal: personalised treatment. Contribute with a donation and give migraine patients back control over their lives.

Waaldijk Orientation Fund secures future for Sexual Orientation Law

On his retirement, Professor Kees Waaldijk had a clear message: the ‘right to relate’ must be protected. With the new Waaldijk Orientation Fund, he is investing in research and teaching on transnational sexual orientation law. Donate and help the next generation of experts.
