25 YEARS OF VINAVIL EGYPT

It was a dream of Dr. Giorgio Squinzi when, at the end of the 1990s, together with Eng. Stecconi, they visited a new site in Suez, Egypt, in an emerging industrial area, with the goal of entering and expanding Vinavil’s markets in Africa and the Middle East.

Today, after 25 years, we are proud to celebrate this important anniversary. Vinavil Egypt has become an undisputed reference in this market, specializing in versatic emulsions, styrene-acrylics, and vinyl homopolymers for the production of adhesives and paints.

The plant has increased its production twentyfold and carried out progressive capacity expansions, all thanks to a cohesive team strongly committed to the company’s results.

The management of Mapei and Vinavil joins in congratulating Vinavil Egypt on this important achievement, which lays the foundation for the next 25 years.

THANK YOU MANFRED, WELCOME NICO!

Manfred Halbach will retire at 67 at the end of November. He started as a laboratory trainee and, after earning his degree in chemical engineering, worked in resin development. Later, he was a General Manager at a pigment company before returning to resins as an Account Manager, where he first met Vinavil. For over 20 years, Manfred has been the face of Vinavil in Germany: we thank him for his dedication and loyalty.
Nico Dröse started in September 2025 as Sales Area Manager Germany. With over 12 years of experience selling raw materials for coatings and adhesives, he is now ready to manage the German market and grow the business. Welcome aboard!

P&C EXHIBITION 2025 BARCELONA

We would like to thank all customers and companies interested in our solutions for the coatings industry who visited us at the P&C exhibition in Barcelona on November 19-20.
The P&C exhibition is one of Europe’s leading events for paints, coatings, and related technologies, bringing together suppliers, manufacturers, and industry professionals to showcase innovations and sustainable solutions.
During these two days, Matteo Rizzonelli and Javier Ochoa had the opportunity to meet with our partners Stockmeier Quimica and Intercoat to share the latest innovations in the paint sector. Topics such as waterproof coatings, flooring coatings, and low-emission interior paints sparked great interest during our meetings.

KEYSER&MACKAY POLAND CUSTOMER EVENT: 2 SUCCESSFUL DAYS

On October 28-29, 2025, our partner in Poland, K&M, organized an event allowing customers to meet their commercial contacts and raw material suppliers.
During the two days, around twenty suppliers from all over the world and about eighty customers from 29 Polish companies operating in adhesives, paints, construction, textiles, thermal insulation, telecommunications, and plastics attended.
Each supplier presented their products and innovations related to sustainability. Vinavil participated with a presentation by Claudia Raucci: “SUSTAINABILITY: a practical approach.”
Taako Brouwer, CEO, Antonietta Schirò, Product Manager Coating & Building, and Fabio Chiozza, Product Manager Adhesives and Specialties, introduced the company and highlighted key applications of Vinavil’s product range in their respective sectors.
Networking moments allowed valuable exchanges between suppliers and customers. Our relationship with K&M strengthens year after year, along with the growth of our business in the Polish market.

QUIMIARA AND VINAVIL: A PARTNERSHIP THAT STICKS!

Since 2024, Vinavil and Quimiara have been collaborating in the Portuguese adhesives and coatings market. With over 30 years in the chemical industry, Quimiara has established itself as a trusted leader in raw materials and specialty chemicals distribution, known for strong customer relationships and technical solutions tailored to the Portuguese market.
