EUROCOAT 2026 - EXHIBITION IN FRANCE

From March 24th to 26th, the historic gathering of the paint, varnish, ink, glue and adhesives industries, EUROCOAT (Paris, France), brought together suppliers of coatings, raw materials, equipment and services for three days of business and discussion. On this occasion, Vinavil was present at the Keyser & Mackay stand, along with other raw material suppliers.

Furthermore, innovative companies, competitiveness clusters, research centers and universities presented their work at the EUROCOAT International Congress. Among them, Francesca Chiarinotti (Technical Service) delivered a presentation on “Sustainable Durability for Building Protection.”

The Vinavil team - Antonietta Schirò (Product Manager), Francesca Chiarinotti (Technical Service), Lucie Boeri (Sales Area Manager), Silvio Pellerani (Commercial & Marketing Director) and Mario De Filippis (Technical Service Director) - held numerous meetings with clients and companies. This was an opportunity to discuss how to address the ME crisis and to reaffirm our unwavering support to partners during this period.

VINAVIL AT JEC WORLD 2026

Once again, VINAVIL took part in JEC World 2026 (Paris, 10-12 March 2026), the leading European exhibition dedicated to composite materials. The event represents a key meeting point for global industry players, bringing together the entire composites value chain, from resin producers to developers of the most advanced manufacturing technologies.

During the exhibition, Fabio Chiozza, Lucie Boeri and Arno Montorfano met with customers and prospects, while also establishing new connections with international manufacturers where the use of polyvinyl acetate-based low-profile additives is not yet widely adopted.

Alongside the well-established VINAFLEX CR25 and VINAFLEX CR50, widely used in industrial and automotive components, VINAVIL also presented VINAVIL K40, specifically developed for marine applications.

TEAM

VINAVIL QUALITY MANAGEMENT UPDATE

Not everyone may know that, since last December, Roberto Biscotelli has joined the VINAVIL organization after gaining experience in the industrial automation sector.

Roberto holds a degree in Materials Science and is now part of the Quality Management team. He will soon replace Claudia Raucci in the role of Quality Specialist, allowing her to fully focus on the development of VINAVIL’s sustainability projects.

In this area, in line with Group and company policies, Claudia has been actively involved since 2023, contributing to the ISCC PLUS certifications for the Villadossola and Ravenna sites, as well as to life cycle assessment studies of our products.

We wish them both every success in their new roles.

INNOVATION

VINAVIL AND THE UNIVERSITY OF FLORENCE

For many years, Vinavil has maintained strategic collaborations with the leading University and international research institutes, with the aim of promoting innovation and developing high value-added solutions. Among the most well-established partnerships is the one with the University of Florence, in particular with the research group coordinated by Professor Antonella Salvini.

This collaboration has enabled the development of advanced research projects, focused both on the analysis of the mechanisms of the main crosslinking systems and on the synthesis and evaluation of innovative and eco-sustainable monomers derived from renewable sources. These activities are fully aligned with Vinavil’s path towards increasingly responsible and sustainability-oriented chemistry.

A joint project is currently underway, dedicated to the development of a new one-component crosslinking system, characterized by a low activation temperature and intended in particular for the textile and wood sectors, where energy efficiency and performance quality are key differentiating factors.

Alongside its research activities, Vinavil also supports the scientific community through initiatives aimed at knowledge sharing and dissemination. In this context, the company participated as a sponsor in the Workshop of the Interdivisional Group on Green Chemistry - Sustainable Chemistry, held in Bologna in 2025, and has confirmed its commitment for the 2026 edition, which will take place in Naples on May 7-8.
