ISCC PLUS - RAVENNA

In May, the ISCC PLUS certification process was successfully completed for the Ravenna site. This new achievement complements the certification already obtained last year for the Villadossola site.

ISCC PLUS is a voluntary certification scheme designed to verify the sustainability of alternative raw materials, supporting the transition to a circular economy and a more sustainable bioeconomy.

NEW PRODUCTION MANAGER IN RAVENNA

On Tuesday, April 15, Engr. Samuele Ricci officially joined the Vinavil team. After a structured handover period with Mario Mengozzi, he took on the role of Production Manager at the Ravenna site.

Engr. Ricci graduated with honors in Chemical Engineering and brought with him a solid background in the chemical industry. Throughout his career, he held increasingly senior positions, most recently serving as Production Manager at a Seveso-regulated, continuous-cycle facility.

The Vinavil team warmly welcomed Samuele Ricci and wished him continued success in this new professional chapter.

WEBINAR - VINAVIL

On April 29, Vinavil successfully held a live webinar titled “Advancing Water-Based Coatings for Concrete: Designing High-Performance Acrylic Polymers.” Hosted bySpecialChem, the event attracted over 150 registrants and featured a live Q&A session.

The presentation addressed key challenges in concrete coatings and showcased Vinavil’s Crilat 4850, 5850, and 4815 polymers. These formulations demonstrated improved toughness, efflorescence resistance, and versatility through self-crosslinking emulsion technology.

The webinar emphasized the benefits of Crilat 4850, recently introduced in Europe for concrete applications. It also highlighted Vinavil’s technical expertise as a polymer supplier.

The webinar is now available for on-demand viewing on Vinavil’s SpecialChem page. More live webinars are planned for later this year.

NEW SALES MANAGER - BELGIUM & LUXEMBOURG

Following the retirement of Cesare Casetta, Lucie Boeri has taken over responsibility for the Belgium and Luxembourg markets as the new Sales Area Manager.

Lucie will ensure continuity in the strong relationship with our agent DEVIMUL and with local customers, while also continuing to develop the strategic growth she began in France over two and a half years ago. The Vinavil team sincerely thanks Cesare for his valuable contributions over the years and warmly wishes Lucie every success in her expanded role.
