November 2025

Dear Circular Economy Community,

Welcome back! As you know, the ECESP's new Coordination Group has been selected. They will meet for the first time on 14 November to get to know each other and identify priorities for the coming two and a half years. The topics for the leadership groups will be decided based on those priorities, and you are all invited to join one or more – just email us and we'll put you in contact with the Coordination Group member in charge of that group.

Circular Week, a key circular economy conference taking place in Poland which you can also follow online, will continue until tomorrow - don't miss the session on sustainability in the healthcare sector! It’s organised by INNOWO, an ECESP Coordination Group member. Maria Nikolopoulou, a member of the European Economic and Social Committee who has been closely connected with the ECESP, took the floor during the session on the Clean Industrial Deal as a driver for competitiveness which was part of Wednesday's European Sustainability Congress. She touched on pivotal issues such as how to speed up the circular transition in Europe and how to reinforce international cooperation.

Last but not least, we have a selection of recent items on the website. It's a good way to see what's going on in the circular economy community: consultations, events, companies and projects active in the circular field, guides, reports and more. The ECESP is a bottom-up initiative though, meaning that we rely on you to tell us what you're doing – so please do let us know, either by filling in the relevant form or by sending us an email!
