October 2025

Dear Circular Economy Community,

Welcome back!

We’re very pleased to be able to tell you that the European Commission’s Directorate-General for the Environment and the European Economic and Social Committee have jointly selected the 24 organisations that will form the ECESP Coordination Group (CG) for the 2025-2028 mandate. We received an impressive range of applications from across Europe, covering various topics and sectors. The selection board carefully assessed each application to ensure a balanced group, reflecting different sectors, stakeholder types and regions and combining continuity with fresh perspectives.

For the next two and a half years, 24 organisation representatives will collaborate to shape the Platform’s activities and work closely with the steering group to foster the transition to a circular economy and bioeconomy in Europe. The CG members will act as ambassadors of the ECESP and play a key role in putting its objectives into practice, building on the achievements of previous mandates.

In other news, you'll remember that the ECESP held the second Circular Economy Days at the World Expo 2025. The nine sessions explored strategies, shared good practices and sought to build partnerships that support circular solutions across sectors and borders. If you missed it, you can have a look at the recordings.

Lastly, as usual, we have a selection of recent items on the website: consultations, calls for applications and abstracts, events, companies and projects active in the circular field, training courses, guides, reports and more. Do let us know about your circular initiatives - we’d love to add them as well!
