Getting around our campuses and London

Studying in London is a unique experience. There’s so much to see and do, but learning how to get around can take time. Student Services Online, the quickest and easiest way for you to find information about student life at King’s, has a range of guidance on campus life and London to help you settle in, such as:

  • Travelling to campus and around London
  • What travelcards & discounts can I get on public transport?
  • Where can I park my bike on campus?

If you’re travelling internationally, Transport for London has advice on getting into central London from each airport so you can pre-plan your journey to and from the city.

A map of gender neutral toilet facilities for each campus and residence is also available.

Campus tours

Why not book a tour to explore your new campus, get to know the surrounding area and make friends along the way? No need to book, just turn up! We also have step-free tours available. Check out the Welcome to King’s app to find a time that suits you.

Important to know: tours have limited capacity and are first come, first served.

If you’d rather take it at your own pace, you can do a self-guided campus trail. Find out more on the Welcome to King’s app.

Accessibility on campus

King’s is committed to removing barriers for our disabled students and there are over 400 access guides for our campuses available on AccessAble. Guides cover key information from parking to hearing loops, walking distances and accessible toilets.

If you require support to access King’s campuses or facilities, we encourage you to seek advice from Disability Support & Inclusion.

Staying safe

We take everyone’s safety and security very seriously at King’s. Make sure to review our article Personal safety on campus & in London to find out about support services and guidance on reducing personal risk, including downloading the SafeZone app for managing your personal safety on campus.
