Wobble Week, 2 - 6 November

Starting a new year can be exciting, but it's also normal to experience challenges as the term progresses, whether that's feeling homesick, stressed, a little lost or simply finding it harder to adjust than expected. Building a home in shared accomodation

“Hi! I’m Christie, a postgraduate student studying MA Cultural and Creative Industries. On my first day in London I was so nervous meeting my flatmates for the first time. Now they’re some of my closest friends and we’ve built a warm and welcoming home together. Of course, like any relationship, shared living came with a few bumps along the way. So here are some things I learned about creating a ‘home away from home’ with your flatmates.”

The commuter’s guide to King’s: how to make it work (and actually enjoy it)

"I’m Lily, a postgraduate student studying Contemporary Literature, Culture and Theory at King’s and live in private accommodation away from campus. I've learnt to be intentional about my time on campus in a way that students in halls perhaps don’t need to think about as consciously.

If you’re arriving at King’s as a commuter student this is what I wish someone had told me at the start."
